At the 6th combined Dermatologic Congress of South Africa in 2022, the SkinMatters Mohs and Reconstruction Unit presented a number of talks. Dr Johann de Wet from the Western Cape, during a plenary session, presented on research on Mohs surgery for melanoma and the first publication from South Africa that was published on this topic.
Dr du Plessis, during the dermatologic surgery session, presented the statistics from the first 10 000 Mohs cases successfully performed in the SkinMatters Mohs and Reconstruction Unit.
