Dr Johann de Wet from the Western Cape branch of the Skinmatters Mohs and Reconstruction Unit was invited to the 2022 Annual Ophthalmology Congress to present on Mohs Surgery, in particular Mohs surgery for malignancies on the eyelids. His talk was well received and in particular supported and applauded by overseas speakers present at the Congress.
Both the South African Mohs branches in Gauteng and the Western Cape now offers a Mohs and oculoplastic reconstruction service. (Eyelid reconstruction)
